The season of Advent invites us to contemplate. Our God is a God of surprises! He surprised the Jews to such a degree that many could not believe the promised messiah would be God Himself: God put on flesh and became one of us!
As we prepare to celebrate the Incarnation of Jesus, I invite you to imitate our God of surprises. Look for the opportunity to do something you would not normally do but which would please God greatly. Who knows what you will do today... for God's greater glory!
